Yesterday, I finally started working on my DIY headboard so just showing a sneak peek of what the upholstered panels look like 👀 I think I nearly KILLED my thumbs from stapling with a manual stapler so will definitely get a staple gun for the rest of the process. 😟😁 The fabric is definitely more lilac than grey so may have to switch up the colour scheme slightly but I'm loving it!! I'll be sharing the process in my stories soon but I love how the elements are coming together. 💃 The gold pulls are for my Ikea Rast dresser and they're sturdier than I expected. They make such a difference to the dresser 😍😍. I also tested my faux hanging Ivy in my macrame planter and it's perfect. I'm currently (seems like always, ha!) reorganizing my bedroom and I recently switched out this Ikea TV bench I've been using as a side table for the last 2 and a half years (?) feels like longer though.🤔 I've had the bench for abt 7 years and previously used it at the end of my bed when I lived in London. .
In small spaces, it's always super important to have multi-use furniture and this lil cutie is no different. SWIPE LEFT to see 5 other ways I styled the TV bench (hint... none of them involve a TV). I've posted some before but it's nice to see them all in one place.

Now, I moved it to my home office nook and I'm looking forward to using it in that space. .

How's your Monday going? I'm fighting the cold (losing) so I'm looking forward to jumping in my bed when I get home and getting a good night's sleep, right next to my new DIY throw pillows. They were super easy to do (no-sew) and make such a difference in the room. Funny how little projects can bring so much joy.

Heeeyyyy... how's your weekend going? I know lots of peeps are enjoying a long weekend. #jealousnotjealouskinda lol since I have work tomorrow. | Photo credit: @immyandindi . So...I really wanted to share this. ♡
This week I finished listening to #themagnoliastory on audible and was struck so many times by how @joannagaines let herself freely dream big. ♡
On Friday, I was driving off my usual route to drop off my mom and stopped by an area I'd love to live in. I remembered how, a few years ago, I'd drive there after work almost every day and park on the hilltop just picturing myself living there. ♡
And then I parked up that dream it seems. ♡
Passing there on Friday, after listening to the book, reminded me of that season. And this scripture verse also came to mind: Eph 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us". ♡
I was reminded in that moment that God can't exceed what's not there, if you know what I mean. ♡
If we're afraid to let ourselves dream big and envision our lives beyond our present circumstances, then we can cripple ourselves and our destinies. We can sometimes set the bar so low.
♡
He's waiting to blow our minds but wants to see that step of faith and power in us first.
